Why we built doclinc
As consultants and builders, Michel and Nick observed the same challenge across industries: email attachments are unsafe, client portals create friction, and IT teams struggle to enforce consistent controls. They set out to build a solution that is secure by design, combining encryption, authenticated access, and full auditability; simple to use, with no passwords, extra accounts, or portals; and enterprise-ready, allowing organizations to deploy and govern document exchanges at scale. doclinc is the result — a modern document exchange solution that teams actually adopt.

Michel Quintin — Co-Founder & CEO
Michel is a digital transformation strategist and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives within complex, regulated organizations. He has worked closely with enterprise teams to design and implement solutions involving data governance, security, compliance, and process optimization—often across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Through this experience, Michel repeatedly encountered the same challenge: secure document exchange was either too risky, too fragmented, or too burdensome for both users and IT teams. He co-founded doclinc to address this gap, with a focus on reducing data exposure while enabling organizations to deploy secure, scalable solutions that teams actually adopt.

He has led the architecture and implementation of systems supporting thousands of users, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and operational resilience.
At doclinc, Nick brings this enterprise mindset to the platform’s technical foundation—ensuring seamless Microsoft 365 integration, centralized control, and a security model aligned with real-world IT and compliance requirements. His approach emphasizes clarity, auditability, and scalability, enabling organizations to deploy doclinc confidently across large Microsoft 365 tenants.
